Role Overview As a Junior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and high quality of our digital products. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and fellow QA professionals to test web and mobile applications, identifying issues before they reach production. Your impact will directly shape seamless user experiences for our clients. Key Responsibilities Execute manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality against business requirements. Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking systems like Jira. Develop and maintain test scripts for API testing and UI validation using tools such as Postman and Selenium. Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to review feature requirements and acceptance criteria. Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration reviews to support continuous deployment practices. Required Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience. Familiarity with software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured. Basic programming or scripting knowledge in languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with test automation frameworks like Selenium or Cypress. Knowledge of database querying using SQL for data validation. Understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies. Success Metrics Successfully execute and document test plans for at least two major client releases within the first 90 days. Identify and report critical pre-release defects to reduce production bug leakage.
